Made in Europe

Whether directly via FRITZ!Box, on the FRITZ!Fon or your smartphone: Have all your contacts easily at hand wherever you are. You don't have to worry about syncing data, since changes in your online contacts are automatically synced with the FRITZ!Box phone book.

CardDAV and online providers

Simply use the phone book of a CardDAV or online provider such as Apple or Google. The online contacts in the FRITZ!Box are then regularly synced and do not require any extra managing. You can also start syncing at any time with the click of the mouse in the FRITZ!Box user interface.

What are the advantages of online contacts?

Thanks to automatic syncing, you can access your contacts quickly and easily at any time via FRITZ!Box, FRITZ!Fon or your smartphone. This means you don't have to manage your contacts on different devices. Whether for business or private use – all end devices have the same information. Furthermore, all authorized persons can access, add to or change the contact data. Even if a terminal device is lost, stolen, faulty or changed, it's still possible to access all contact data as it is stored separately on the server. This means the contacts can be quickly synced with a new device.

Shared or individual contacts

Depending on your needs and if you have multiple FRITZ!Fon devices, you can assign each FRITZ!Fon its own contacts. Or you can share a single phone book on multiple phones.

Once connected – always up to date

The online contacts in the FRITZ!Box are synced with your online provider's contacts on a regular basis. This applies to new phone book entries, changes to contacts, and any contacts deleted from your account with the online provider. If you've added, changed or deleted contacts, you can also start the update with the online provider in the FRITZ!Box phone book with the ‘Synchronize’ button.

FRITZ!Fon voice ringtones

With FRITZ! OS 7.50 or later, voice output can be configured on the FRITZ!Fon, also known as voice ringtones. If you have voice ringtones set up, instead of a ringtone, either the name of the caller will be announced, if it's in the phone book, or the location from which the call is coming (based on the country and area code of the caller). This new feature also works with online contacts that you've set up.

Configured in a few steps

In the FRITZ!Box user interface you can set up new online contacts under ‘Telephony > Phone Book’.
