Description of the services
Our online shop, www.FRITZ.com (hereafter ‘Online Shop’), offers products in the area of network technology. Consumers can search for, compare, and purchase electronics here. They can search for products, add them to shopping carts, place orders, make payments, and conclude contracts. For any questions or assistance, our customer service team is available via email, phone, and contact form. Information relating to the conclusion of the contract and that required by Article 246 of the German Introductory Act to the Civil Code (Einführungsgesetz zum Bürgerlichen Gesetzbuch, EGBGB), i.e. including information about product features, our identity, the total price, and the terms of payment and delivery, can be found in our terms and conditions or will be provided when concluding the contract.
Applicable requirements
The accessibility requirements are based on the ‘European Accessibility Act’ (EAA) and national legislation, in particular the German Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz or BFSG) and the subsequent BFSG Ordinance.
The specific technical measures implemented essentially comply with the standard EN 301 549 and are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 with conformity levels A and AA.
Accessibility in the online shop
Accessibility in our online shop has been implemented in accordance with the above-mentioned standards. The options for barrier-free use include the following in particular:
- Navigating the online shop with a keyboard
- Readability of text elements with screen readers
- Ability to customize font size
- Use of sufficient colour contrasts
- Images related to specific products are accompanied by an image description
- The ability to pause videos
- No use of content that flashes or changes rapidly
- Use of descriptive page titles and clear navigation structures
- Clear explanations of input errors and assistance in resolving them
- Compatibility with all common browsers
- Use of semantic HTML structures and ARIA roles
- Videos uploaded after 30 September have subtitles
- Documents for download that were published after 28 Juni 2025 are available in an accessible format.
